Rodo, el bajista, artista sonoro mexicalense y pieza clave de la escena punk y post-punk del noroeste de México ha estado ocupado en el estudio grabando y produciendo su primer álbum solista y ‘The End Of Chaos’ es una composición nacida de esas sesiones, que hoy, compartimos con ustedes.
Rodo aborda la música de manera visceral, furiosa y en caída libre, creando capas de sonidos y atmósferas en tiempo real a través de su arsenal de objetos, instrumentos -e inclusive- su propio cuerpo, como hemos podido escuchar a través de su creciente catálogo musical, tanto en solitario como en conjunto con otros músicos y no-músicos.
En ‘The End Of Chaos’ la furia no está en la superficie, sino en el interior, como un mar en tensa paz. “Esta pieza es pura improvisación en una sola toma. Es la secuela de la destrucción y la desolación y al mismo tiempo, el hilo de esperanza que queda cuando todo se ha venido abajo…” comenta Rodo.
El álbum de estudio de Rodo verá la luz en 2024 a través de Facade Electronics.

Rodo, bass player, sound artist and key player in the punk and post-punk scene of northern Mexico, has been busy in the studio recording and producing his first solo album and 'The End Of Chaos' is a composition born from those sessions , which today, we proudly share with you.
Rodo approaches music in a visceral, furious and free-falling way, creating layers of sounds and atmospheres in real time through his arsenal of objects, instruments - and even - his own body, as we have been able to hear through his musical catalog, both alone and in conjunction with other musicians and non-musicians.
In 'The End Of Chaos' the fury is not on the surface, but inside, like a sea in tense peace. “This piece is pure improvisation in a single take. It is the aftermath of destruction and desolation and at the same time, the thread of hope that remains when everything has fallen apart…” comments Rodo.
Rodo's studio album will be released in 2024 through Facade Electronics.
